Revive VoxBox Unboxing

Hi!

If you've been following me for awhile (if you're new, welcome!), you know that I'm an Influenster.  That means that I receive products complimentary to test for review purposes.  If you want to know more about the program, check out their website!

Anyway, my Revive VoxBox came in the mail today.  I honestly had no idea what was in the box (I somehow avoided the spoilers this time around), so, of course, I had to open it right away!  Let's go ahead and get into the review before I start rambling haha

DISCLAIMER: I received these products complimentary for review purposes.  This is not a sponsored post, and all opinions are my own.

This VoxBox included a coupon for The Vitamin Shoppe (10% off one purchase); a Body Tech water bottle; 3 protein powders; Hills Bros., Chock Full o'Nuts, and Kauai Coffee compostable coffee pods; SheaMoisture shampoo and conditioner; and SnackWell's cookies.

Body Tech Bottle ($??)

The information card I received in my box didn't include anything about this water bottle, so I'm not really sure what it retails for, or where it's from.  But, it's a pretty awesome!

Compstable Coffee Pods ($6.99 per 12ct carton)

"Innovative single serve pods from Hills Bros., Chock Full o'Nuts, and Kauai Coffee brew delicious coffee by the cup in K-Cup style brewers.  And because they are certified 100% compostable, these single serve pods are better for the environment- they go back to the land, not the landfill."

SheaMoisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo and Creme Rinse  ($10.99 per 13 oz. bottle)

"This rich, sulfate-free shampoo gently cleanses and hydrates hair weightlessly, Certified organic shea butter and coconut water blend with our proprietary fusion of dragon fruit, lychee berry, and green apple extracts to nourish and energize lifeless hair."

"This lightweight conditioner softens hair, while revitalizing natural waves and curls that need to boost.  Certified organic shea butter and coconut water blend with our proprietary fusion of dragon fruit, lychee berry, and green apple extracts to nourish and energize lifeless hair.  Leaves hair touchably soft and shiny."

SnackWell's Biscuit Thins ($2.98 - $3.96)

"SnackWells' Biscuit Thins are a good source of protein and fiber, are made with real coffee, and are free from high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oil.
          - 24g of 100% whole grains and only 8g of fat per serving.
          - Available in caramel macchiato, French vanilla latte, and dark chocolate mocha flavors."

Obviously, I haven't tried out any of these products yet.  As usual, I will post another blog with my final thoughts about each of the products within the next few weeks or so.  Make sure you check back for that post :)

Color Sensational Matte Liquids Final Thoughts

Hi!!

About a month ago, I received two shades from the Maybelline Color Sensational Vivd Matte Liquid lipsticks from Influenster. I wanted to update you guys about the product and share my final thoughts :)

Disclaimer- I received these products complimentary for testing purposes. All opinions, as always, are my own, and this is not a sponsored post.

Shades: Rebel Red (top) and Nude Thrill (bottom)

Opacity: Like I said in my first impressions post, these are slightly steaky, but you can fix that problem by layering the product. These don't seem to get tacky or bunch up when you later then, so that's a plus! The red tends to be a bit more steaky than the nude. With two coats, I find these are opaque enough so that you can't see your natural lip color through them.
Rating- 💜💜💜💜 out of 5

Texture: These have a mousse-like texture; they are not overlay drying on the lips, and actually add some moisture. Because they don't fully dry down to a matte finish (unless you blot your lips on a tissue), they do transfer pretty easily. Do not wear these if you plan on eating/ drink/ kissing. You will probably have to reapply throughout the day to keep them looking perfect. This is not my favorite texture, and I prefer to have a completely matte look if I'm wearing a liquid lipstick. That is a personal preference, and I can see a lot of people liking this texture more than most liquid lipsticks that dry completely matte. Being a teacher, I don't have a ton of time to reapply during the day, so that is a drawback for me personally.
Rating- 💜💜💜 out of 5

Packing: I love that the tubes are clear and you can see exactly which color you're getting when you purchase them. These are sleek and adorable! It just looks nice and clean to me, which I appreciate. They're also compact and easy to take on the go!
Rating- 💜💜💜💜💜 out of 5

Applicator: I really do not like the shape of this applicator... It's very difficult for me to apply these in a nice clean line, and I found myself reaching for a lip liner when I was using the red shade. If you have fuller lips, you may enjoy this applicator; my lips are pretty thin, so it was tough for me to apply these evenly. I find that the applicator does not hold a lot of product, so I did have to dip back into the tube a few times while applying.
Rating- 💜💜 out of 5

Wear time: With the more intense red shade, I got about 3 hours of wear time, where as the nude shade only lasted about 2 hours on my lips. I did eat and drink while wearing these, just to see how much they transferred. As I preciously mentioned, you will need to reapply after eating/ drinking. These are comfortable to wear, so that is a huge plus! Honestly though, I would sacrifice comfort for a longer wear time.
Rating- 💜💜 out of 5

Overall: Honestly, I don't think I will be repurchasing these, mainly because they don't have a very long wear time, and they tend to transfer pretty easily. These are not the worst liquid lipsticks I have tried, but they're not the best either. I think these are better for people who want to try out a matte lipstick for the first time, and don't want to deal with the drying effect most liquid lipsticks tend to have. I will probably use these from time to time for a night out/ for a short period of time.
Overall rating- 💜💜💜1/2 out of 5

Thanks for checking back and reading about my final thoughts on these liquid lipsticks! I'll see you again soon!

First Impressions- Vivid Matte Liquid VoxBox

Hello there!!

If you've been reading my blog for awhile (or have checked out any of my older posts), you already know that I'm an Influenster! Basically, you sign up on http://influenster.com and the company sends you samples to test out/ review. If you're interested, click the link above to sign up.

Anyways, I just received the Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid VoxBox today. I have two colors from the new line that recently launched. Because I just got these today, this is just going to be my first impression post; however, I will have an updated post on my final thoughts on the product after I've used them for a few weeks.

Alright, let's get started!!

Disclaimer: I received this products complementary from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are my own, and this is not a sponsored post.

My VoxBox included two Vivid Matte Liquid lipsticks and a promotional card with some info about the product. It took about 5 days for me to receive my box after I got the confirmation email (the shipping time may vary depending on what state you're in).

Shades: Rebel Red, Nude Thrill

Opacity: Nude Thrill is not patchy or streaky, but Rebel Red did take two coats to become completely opaque. That is pretty common with most other liquid lipsticks I've tried, so I'm not too worried about that. Usually, the darker shades come off a bit streaky or patchy, but you can use a lip liner underneath to solve that problem. Or just add another thin coat.

Texture: So, the name of the product implies that these are matte liquid lipsticks. However, when you first put them on they have more of a satin finish. There isn't much shine, but they're not completely matte either (at first). Once you have them on your lips for about 10 minutes, they dry down to a velvety matte finish. Unlike most liquid lipsticks I've used in the past, these are not overly drying and are really comfortable to wear! You can feel that there is something on your lips, but it's not sticky or tacky in anyway. I feel like these tend to slip around a little bit, but I can get over that because they don't dry my lips out.

Packaging: Ok, I love the packaging! These are small and sleek, yet you still get a ton of product. I like that you can see the color in the tube- that means I don't have to dig around in my drawers for 10 minutes trying to find a nude lipstick! Yay!

Applicator: I'm not 100% sure how I feel about the applicator yet. I'm used to the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, which have a small doe foot applicator. The Vivid Matte applicators are definitely unique- instead of a doe foot, it's more of a long, skinny paddle shaped wand. Because of its shape, it holds a lot more product than the Kat Von D ones, which may or may not be a bad thing. I think I just need more practice using the wand, but it's kind of difficult to apply at first. I wiped some of the product on the edge of the cap and lined my lips before filling them in. That seemed to help.

Wear Time: So far, I've worn Nude Thrill for about 3 hours before it completely wore off. These don't claim to be super long-lasting or waterproof, which isn't a problem for me. I don't mind reapplying lip products after lunch :) I was curious about how waterproof these were compared to the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, so I had to test it out. Overall, these will stay on your lips, but they can smear if they come in contact with water. They also transfer a little bit when you're eating/ drinking, but it's not too bad. You'll still have some color left behind afterwards.

Overall: I can definitely see myself using these on a regular basis, and I want to check out some of the other shades. I know there is a deep purple shade in the line that I'm really curious about! I love the shade range, and these aren't too terribly expensive, especially for liquid lipsticks (I saw them at Walmart for $6.99 each). These are great for those of you who want a liquid lipstick that doesn't completely dry out your lips. Again, they're comfortable, but you do sacrifice some hours of wear time because of that. Honestly, these are pretty awesome!!

Thanks for checking out my first impressions on the Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid lipsticks! Stay tuned for my final thoughts in the next few weeks :)

Jingle VoxBox Unboxing

Hi!

I just got a late Christmas present in the mail today- the Jingle VoxBox from Influenster!!  I've been waiting on this box for about 2 weeks now, so I was super excited to see it in the mailbox today :)  As with all my other unboxing posts, I'm not going to include reviews or swatches in this post; however, I will do a followup post of my reviews of each of the products in the next few weeks.

In case you're interested, here are some links to my previous VoxBoxes:

Also, here's a timeline just for reference:

December 14: Completed the qualification survey
December 21: Received the confirmation email that I qualified for the box
December 29: Received the box

Enough with the chit-chat, let's check out the box!

The Box

So, this box is jam packed full of some awesome products!  I can't wait to test them out and see how everything works/ tastes.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream ($8.99 - $15.99)

"Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is a rich, quickly absorbing, non-greasy cream that provides long-lasting relief for even severely dry skin.  This unique formula attracts water to skin and helps prevent moisture loss."

I've never used anything from this brand before, but I've only heard good things about this cream from beauty bloggers and vloggers.  I'm thankful they sent this in the winter box: my skin has been pretty dry recently, so we'll get to see just how effective this cream is on dry skin.  Hopefully we'll have some awesome results!

Biscoff Cookies (250g $2.99)

"Since 1932, Lotus Biscoff Speculoos have been Europe's favorite cookie with coffee.  Delectably crunchy with a unique taste and flavor, Biscoff is perfect for taking the timeout that you deserve."

I.  Absolutely.  Love.  Biscoff.  Cookies!!!  I'm dead serious when I say these are my favorite cookies of all time!  I'm obsessed with cookie butter, which only makes sense because it's made out of these little godsends.  If you've never tried Biscoff cookies, you're missing out.  Needless to say, these will be gone as soon as I finish this blog post.  Maybe sooner ;)

Ore-Ida Tater Tots Coupon ($3.99)

"Ore-Ida, the inventor of the one-and-only Tater Tot, is looking for you to be part of the next big Tater craze.  Show us your creativity and be part of the #OreIdaTotchos movement!"

I'm not a huge fan of potatoes or tater tots, but my boyfriend is always up for some tater tots with his dinner!  Whenever we decide what product we're going to get with our coupon (which is really generous, btw, because it's a $4.00 value!), we'll review the tater tots for ya.

Hallmark itty bittys (Starting at $6.95)

"Hallmark's itty bittys give them a little something to love.  New characters in time for the holiday season include Star Wars, Barbie, DC Comics, Inside Out, Rainbow Brite, and many more.  Collect them all.  These make great stocking stuffers!  Available at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and Hallmark.com."

Ok, this little plushie is adorable!  How cute is little Rapunzel?!  I love the fact that Influenster sent me a Disney character (who happens to be one of my favorite princesses from one of my favorite Disney movies!); they know me so well!  I'm probably going to put this in my classroom and use it as a reward or something for my kids.  Maybe when you have Rapunzel, it's your turn to "gleam and glow"?  Cheesy, I know; but I am in third grade at the moment, and my kids love Disney characters.

NYC City Proof 24HR Waterproof Eyeliner ($3.99)

"City Proof 24HR Eyeliner is a water proof pencil that is perfect for your on-the-go lifestyle.  Just glide on for long lasting 24HR color!"

I received this product in the shade 932 Dark Brown.  I've never tried an NYC eyeliner, but I love 99.9% of their products.  This is one of the cheapest brands at the drugstore, but the products are usually comparable to high end products; this eyeliner (at first glance) reminds me of the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners, which are my favorite liners.  I usually don't wear brown eyeliner, but I'm excited to try this one out.  I love that it's waterproof, so I'm hoping it'll last all day with no issues or smudging happening.

KISS True Volume Lashes ($3.99)

"Made with 100% natural hair, KISS True Volume Lashes blend beautifully with your own lashes.  The Tapered End Technology creates natural-looking ends that resemble real lashes but give eyes that perfect 'vavoom' without looking too made-up."

Although I don't wear false lashes on a regular basis, I have tried KISS lashes before.  I love the look of these lashes- I think they'll add some volume and length to my lashes while still looking pretty natural.  I wear glasses, so I'm not usually into long lashes, but these look pretty doable and shouldn't hit my lenses.  I'll probably wear these on New Year's Eve, just because.

KISS Strip Lash Adhesive with Aloe ($3.99)

"Enjoy wearing false lashes without the irritation!  The KISS Aloe Vera Strip Lash Adhesive is a safe and long-lasting glue with the refreshing scent of aloe."

I've only ever used the Revlon Precision Lash Glue, so I'm excited to try a new lash glue, especially one infused with aloe.  I'm hoping this product won't have an overpowering scent.  I'm also hoping that this glue stays in place and keeps the lashes from sliding around throughout the day.

Pure Ice Nail Polish ($1.97 only at Walmart)

"Pure Ice is for the girl whose got passion for the hottest nail colors and trends.  Offering an array of nail polish colors and effects, from high-pigment creams to shimming iridescent pearls and multidimensional single coat glitters, our shoppers can always play with color!  Pure Ice is proudly made in the USA, without formaldehyde, toluene, or DBP."

I love these polishes!  Seriously, I have about 30 bottles of Pure Ice polish, and I've never tried anything from this brand that I don't like.  These polishes are an awesome value, and they last forever.  I don't think any of the polishes in my collection have dried out or gotten overly clumpy before the expiration date.  I love this color (it's called Bikini) because it's such a nice baby blue cream; I'm thinking it's going to take 2 coats to be completely opaque, but these polishes usually level themselves out and don't go on streaky.

-----
Hope you enjoyed this Jingle VoxBox unboxing!  Thanks again to Influenster for sending me these awesome products to try out.  Check back soon for reviews on each of the products included in the box :)

Influenster Champion

Hey!!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve and Happy Holidays! I just received an early present from Inflenster.com in the mail :D

I participated in the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs campaign on Influenster a few weeks ago, and apparently I was a top badge holder. Don't know how that happened, but I'm excited! Anyways, I received a little green box in the mail containing a Sally Hansen nail polish.

Let's check it out together.

-----

This is the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear polish in the shade 445 Violet Voltage. I took pictures of the bottle in artificial light (1st picture) and natural light (2nd picture) just to show you the true color.

I haven't tried this color out yet (my nails are kind of short at the moment...), but I know I love this line of polishes! When I do try it out, I'll leave my opinion on the color/ formula down below.

-----
Until then, hope you're having a wonderful holiday season so far! Talk to you again soon :)

Sally Hansen VoxBox Unboxing

Hey guys!

Today's post should be pretty short; I just wanted to post a little something about the latest VoxBox I received from Influenster.  If you're interested in my previous boxes and reviews, I've included some links below for ya :)
Anyway, I received the Sally Hansen Airbrush Perfect Legs VoxBox to try out.  It came with a little travel size of the tanning lotion and a $2.00 coupon to use on the full size product.  I haven't tested anything out yet, but I'll post another blog in a few days letting you know the final verdict.

-----
DISCLAIMER: I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.com.  This is not a sponsored post, and all opinions are my own.

I'm not huge on self-tanners, but I am excited to try this one out simply because it is supposed to wash off with soap and water.  It's called "leg makeup" because it's only supposed to be worn for a few hours, but it also claims that it leaves a gradual tan behind if you use it over an extended period of time.

Since I'm going to Vegas and California this coming Sunday, I'll probably take this with me to test out and see how it does against water and sweat.  I'm hoping to upload a review on this product within the next two weeks or so.

----------
Thanks for being awesome and reading my blog!  I'll talk to you again soon (I'm hoping to post some blogs while I'm on vacation, but we'll see how that goes)

Campus VoxBox Reviews

Hello!

This is the follow up post to my Campus VoxBox Unboxing I posted a few weeks ago.  Honestly, I was really happy with this box as a whole!  There were some amazing products and I can see myself purchasing some of the items; I love the sunless tanner, the face scrub, and the lip cube.  I've reviewed each of the products below.  Since the reviews are pretty short, I just decided to combine them into one post instead of creating a bunch of different blogs.  Makes things a bit easier for everyone, right?

I included these links in my last post, but if you want to read more about the VoxBoxes I've received in the past, here ya go:

JERGENS Natural Glow Instant Sun Sunless Tanning Mousse ($12.99)

Like I said in my unboxing blog, I was so afraid that this tanner would make my skin look way too orange.  I was sent the shade "Deep Bronze," so I wasn't sure how natural it would end up looking on my pale skin.  I used it on my legs a few times and loved the results!!  The fact that this product is a mousse makes it so easy to use (it's basically fool-proof; trust me).  It's not streaky at all.  I used my bare hands to apply this, but it was fairly easy to remove with some warm water and soap.  I would recommend using a mitt or gloves, though.  This dries quickly so you do have to work kind of fast; however, I love that you can put this on right before you go somewhere and don't have to worry about it transferring onto you clothes.  I would definitely purchase this product.  It's a bit on the pricey side, but I would probably only use it for special occasions (weddings, date night, whatever).

St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub ($3.99 - $4.79)

I've been loving this product recently!  My combo skin usually isn't too horrible in the summer, but I can feel some build up starting to happen as the days get warmer.  Sweat, makeup, all that good stuff.  I use this scrub once or twice a week depending on how my skin looks; it leaves my skin feeling nice and clean without over-drying it.  My skin isn't super sensitive, but I have to be careful about how often I use exfoliators.  This one is so perfect for my skin, and I will definitely be purchasing this as soon as  I run out of my current bottle.

L'OREAL PARIS Advanced Straight System (Shampoo/ Conditioner: $4.99 each, Treatments: $6.99)

I have to admit- this product really didn't do a whole lot for me...  I have fairly straight hair, but it does have a slight wave to it.  After using this system, my hair was straighter than it normally is.  However, after a day in the Arkansas rain/ humidity it didn't stay that way.  I'm not sure if I would purchase this system, mostly because I use Redken shampoo and conditioner on my hair.  It's color-treated, so I try to stay away from drugstore hair products.  This isn't a bad product, it just didn't do anything overly special for me.

Softlips Cube ($3.49)

I'm pretty sure this is my new favorite drugstore lip balm!  It's so moisturizing, but doesn't leave a greasy film on your lips.  I love the taste and the scent (it's really fruity), and the packaging is so freaking adorable! I have to say, this doesn't last a long time on the lips; maybe 2 to 3 hours tops.  But I'm totally fine with reapplying it throughout the day.  I usually put this on my lips when I'm doing my makeup so I can have super soft lips (haha) before applying lip liner/ lipstick.  These are popping up all over my local Walmart, so I'm pretty sure I'll end up buying some of the other scents just to try them out.  I'm interested in the Vanilla Bean one!

Sour Punch Rainbow Straws ($1.29 - $1.59)

I may or may not have thrown these into my purse when I went to see Age of Ultron a few weeks ago.  And they were awesome!  I've had these sour straws before, so there really wasn't much mystery here.  The strawberry are still my favorite, but the new lemon straws were a close second.  I'm not usually a huge fan of blue raspberry, but I love these for some reason.  I would definitely buy these and sneak them into the theater haha

Sour Punch Punchies ($0.89 - $1.29)

I have to be honest- I absolutely love the Strawberry candies!  The rest of them were not all that wonderful.  The Lemon candies weren't bad.  I don't know, I guess I'm just not a huge fan of sour candies if they aren't strawberry flavored.  I don't think I would purchase these, but I'm glad I got a sample of them in my box.  Unless they sold the strawberry ones on their own.  Then I would probably buy a few bags.

You're awesome for making it all the way through that ridiculously long post!  Thank you :)
I'll talk to you again very soon.

Campus VoxBox Unboxing

Hi there!

It seems like forever since I've posted something about the Influenster VoxBox program.  If you've been following me for awhile, you'll know that I've received a few of these VoxBoxes in the past; here's a few links in case you want to check out some of my older posts:
I'm not exactly sure when this box arrived, but I'm guessing it was sometime earlier this week.  Since I haven't tried any of the products yet, this is more of a show-and-tell type deal; I'll use the products over the next few weeks and post another blog with mini reviews on everything :)

For now, let's start unboxing!

-----
DISCLAIMER: I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.com.  This is not a sponsored post, and all opinions are my own.
-----

The Box

I was so excited to see this box in the mail today!  I think it's the largest VoxBox I've ever received from Influenster. Everything in this box is full sized, except the L'Oreal hair system.

JERGENS Natural Glow Instant Sun Sunless Tanning Mousse ($12.99)

"JERGENS Natural Instant Sun Sunless Tanning Mousse uniquely works with your skin tone to mimic results from the natural sun.  This airy, moisturizing mousse allows for a precise, even application that dries in just 60 seconds, taking you on vacations in an instant.  Welcome to the #goldenlife."

I've got to be honest- I'm slightly terrified of testing out this product.  I haven't used a sunless tanner before, and I'm worried it'll look a little too dark on my skin since it's in the shade "Deep Bronze."  I'll probably end up using this on my legs just so it doesn't look too obnoxious/ fake on my pale skin.

St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub ($3.99 - $4.79)

"St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub contains 100% natural exfoliants to deeply clean pores and brighten dull skin.  The scrub helps stop breakouts before they occur, containing salicylic acid, which is known to help prevent blemishes from forming."

I've used some sort of scrub from St. Ives before, and I remember really liking it.  Their products usually smell awesome and work really well (I have acne-prone combination skin, so I use a scrub once a week or so just to keep my skin clear).

L'OREAL PARIS Advanced Straight System (Shampoo/ Conditioner: $4.99 each, Treatments: $6.99)

"Our first system with Kera-Tourmaline for up to 48 hours of long-lasting straight (based on using complete system with heat styling tools)."

This shampoo, pre-conditioner, and conditioner is supposed to be pretty fantastic.  I haven't used this particular product, but I have tried a few different versions of the L'Oreal Advanced Haircare line.  I usually don't buy shampoo/ conditioner from the drugstore only because I have color treated hair.  I'll probably end up using these samples just to see if it's comparable to my Redken shampoo/ conditioner.

Softlips Cube ($3.49)

"Think outside the stick with Softlips Cube.  Revolutionary 5-in-1 lip care combines an advacned formula with an innovative new cube-shaped package.  Lips look radiant and feel softer, smoother, and more hydrated.  It is available in four delightful flavors: Pomegranate Blueberry, Fresh Mint, Vanilla Bean, and Strawberry."

Ok, I am so excited to try this!  I saw it advertised in my local Walgreens, but I didn't pick it up because I have a ton of lip balms I need to use up.  This reminds me of the EOS lip balms, but I really like the packaging on this a lot more.  I've used Softlips lip balm in the past; I'm not 100% sure if I liked the product or not.  I've been looking for a super-moisturizing lip balm (here's hoping this is the one!).

Sour Punch Rainbow Straws ($1.29 - $1.59)

"Sour Punch Rainbow Straws are soft, chewy, straw-shaped candy that delivers the perfect balance of delicious fruit flavor and our signature sour crystal coating that will make your moth pucker with delight.  Sour Punch Rainbow Straws is first to deliver an assortment of all your favorite sour flavors in one package: Strawberry, Green Apple, blue Raspberry, and our brand new Lemon Straws, only available in this new assorted pack!"

I. Love. Sour. Candies!  Honestly, these are probably my favorite sour candy- I usually end up sneaking these into the movie theater.  I love the flavors (especially the strawberry and green apple), and I'm excited to try the lemon sour straws.  I'll probably end up eating these later tonight while I'm catching up on my Netflix shows :)

Sour Punch Punchies ($0.89 - $1.29)

"The wacky Sour Punch Punchies characters have come to life in a sour, chewy, soft-shell candy.  Each mouth-watering bite-size piece packs the perfect punch of fruity-sweet and sour.  Sour Punch Punchies come in five delicious flavors including Strawberry, Blue Raspberry, Green Apple, Lemon, and Tangerine, and each piece has the iconic, wacky PUN-CHI face!  Eat them one at a time, or mix them together for a fruitacular candy experience!"

I'm usually not a huge fan of chewy candies, but I'll definitely try these!  I'm glad we got two different sour candies in this box- I've been craving something sweet/ sour for about a week now haha
I'm not sure if I'll like the Tangerine flavor, but we'll see.

eBay Guides Campaign

"Want an easy $25 to treat yourself?  You've got it!  Head to your Dashboard to check out your exclusive access to the latest and greatest eBay Campaign.  Share your expertise on topics from the Inspiration Tool by writing 2 guides on eBay that follow the requirements (on the badge page), and that's an easy $25 to eBay in your pocket.  Check out the insert for more information!"

So this is a new thing Influenster has started including in the VoxBoxes.  I'm not 100% sure how this works, but I'll figure it out and let you know how easy/ difficult it was to score the $25 gift card.

Thank you for checking this post out!  I'll see you again soon with reviews on each of the products from this box :)

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Manicure ($5.99 for colors/ $7.99 for patterns)
I recieved this same product in my last VoxBox, but I'm glad they sent me a patterned set this time. This pattern is called "Straight Up" (these are the short length nails). I absolutely love these press-on nails because they're so easy to apply, they last for a full week, and they come in a ton of cute colors and patterns. I can't wait to wear these!

Expert Last Lip Color ($1.99)
NYC claims that this lipstick is moisturizing, silky smooth, had a velvety finish, and wears for up to 6 hours. Hopefully, this lipstick is as good as it seems to be! I love the color, and I can see myself wearing this day or night. It's a great spring color, in my opinion. This color is called "Forever Fuchsia (447)."

Pilot Acroball PureWhite ($4.59 per 3-pack/ $6.24 per 4-pack/ $7.49 per 5-pack)
I don't know if I'm weird or not, but I really like pens. This pen is supposed to be a sort of hybrid between a gel pen and a ballpoint pen; the company says it writes smoothly like a gel pen, but dries quickly like a ballpoint pen. I'm a lefty, so quick-drying ink is a must for me! I like that the pen grips were inspired by the Spring Pantone colors.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation ($4.99-$5.49)
I've been wanting to try this foundation for ages! From what the company says, this foundation is lightweight and keeps skin matte throughout the day. I think this is the lightest shade in the range ("Light Ivory (091)"), and hopefully it'll be a good color match for me :)

Playtex Sport Fresh Balance ($3.99-$4.99)
This is the only product in the box that I probably won't use; I'll probably end up giving these to friend and asking their opinion on them. I don't use tampons, so I don't feel like I'll be able give you guys an honest opinion of this product.

Red Rose REAL TEA Premium Water Wnhancer ($4.49)
I just recently started drinking tea, so I was excited to see this in my box! I didn't even know a product like this existed. I received this in the flavor "Blackcurrant Raspberry." There are supposed to be 24 servings in this little bottle.

Jolly VoxBox Unboxing

Hi there!

I received another VoxBox in the mail a few days ago, and thought I'd do an unboxing post for you all :)  This is the Jolly VoxBox- I'm not really sure if this box has a theme or if it's just kind of a grab bag of random things.  Either way, these products are pretty awesome!  As always, this is just my first impressions of these products, but I will have a review of the products up in about a month.

Just for reference, here's a time line for this box:

December 12: Received an email letting me know I qualified for the Jolly VoxBox

December 19: Received tracking number and shipping confirmation

December 21: Received the VoxBox

The Box

Puffs Ultra Soft and Strong To Go Tissue Pack ($0.49)

This was the perfect thing to include in this VoxBox!  I know I'm not the only one who suffers from a runny noes this time of year- that's just what happens when it gets cold.  These tissues are great for on the go; I have a few of these packs stashed in my car and some in my purse.  I've used the Puffs brand before, but I usually buy Kleenex (not really for any particular reason, that's just the brand my family picks up).  I'm glad these are the Plus Lotion tissues.  They're just moisturizing enough to keep your nose from getting irritated.

NYC New York Color HD Color Trio Eye Shadow ($2.99)

Since this is just the unboxing post, I haven't had a chance to swatch or try out this trio yet, but I will definitely have pictures in the review post.  This trio is a nice, neutral palate, and can work with any skin tone.  I feel like these shadows may come off a bit more sheer than most, but we will see.  The top color is a soft pinkish highlight shade, the middle color is a deeper bronzy taupe, and the bottom color is a golden pink shade.  All of these shadows look pretty shimmery and soft (which can be a good thing and a bad thing).

Rimmel London NEW Show Off Lip Lacquer ($5.49-5.99)

I was excited to see this little product in my box.  I've already tried out a few of the colors from the Show Off Lip Lacquer line, but this was one I hadn't tried yet (thank goodness!).  This shade is called "Nova (#102)."  It's a nice basic pink with no shimmer- I have worn these before, so I can tell you that they are a little drying but not as drying as a matte lipstick.  These are kind of a hybrid between a pigmented lipstick and a smooth, non-sticky gloss.  I really love the formula, and can't wait to try this shade out.

Skinny Cow Candy ($3.99)

I haven't tried anything from the Skinny Cow brand, but I've heard a lot of great things about their candies.  In this box, I received the Skinny Cow "Divine Filled Chocolates" candy- they're little milk chocolate bites filled with peanut butter.  These sound absolutely amazing!  One serving (one pouch) has 130 calories, which is awesome considering this is a candy.  Hopefully these taste as good as they sound :)

Ducklings Mini Rolls ($2-3)

Oh. My. Goodness!  I cannot tell you how much I love duct tape!!  I was so excited when I saw this at the bottom of my box.  The pattern is so cute (blue and purple cheetah print), and I love the size of this mini roll.  I'm not sure what I'm going to make with this tape yet, but I'm sure it will be super cute :)
